Google Tech Talks

Google Tech Talks over at YouTube is video worth watching if you are interested not just in technology, but how Google views the technology they are working with. With videos on Mapreduce, cluster computing, java collections and Android the collection is extensive and worth following.

Google Tech Talks is a part of a cluster of Google video channels on YouTube. The design behind these videos is that you get access to the people who come and speak to programmers, developers, and users at the Googleplex.

If you are interested in developing android applications, then you can watch the video above, but the idea is not just limited to android, most of the Google apps and ecosystem are copied to video for people to get good ideas from. Much like Channel 9 over at Microsoft, but with videos you can share in a classroom, or on your favorite blog, the Google education channels make an interesting way for Google to share the information they know, in a format that people will listen to and use.
